Rapid Prototyping for Product Development
By taking advantage of our rapid prototyping services, you can quickly print and review the look and basic feel product iterations for measuring performance, implement feature changes and benchmark the resulting performance for intended approaches. This can save time, but it also ensures that you make the correct design decisions.
This allows you to:

Prototype Design and Production
Prototype development and production helps address important issues; with a physical prototype you are able test the fit, function, and form of your component. They also serve to test materials, tolerances, and marketability.
Mock up: This is the the simplest representation of a desired product or component. Mock up prototypes, handcrafted or 3D, provide at least part of the functionality and allow for testing of a design. This in turn provides a basis for refinement of individual concepts. If you're creating a mock up, the prototype is typically not completely functional or accurate.
Working prototype: This prototype clearly demonstrates the value of the product. These are often used to develop methods for testing functionality and/or design refinement. A working prototype may be used for review of the final design, aesthetic evaluation, and functionality. With a working model of your product or concept, you may begin to finalize materials and start developing molding samples.
Functional prototype: Process where tight tolerances in refined tooling are used to create dimensionally accurate parts. In the medical field this process is undergone early in development to ensure product viability.
